This post is about a month late but, as it was Valentine’s day yesterday, I have had the proverbial kick up the backside and got myself into gear. I was awarded the 2012 Blog of the Year Award by not one, but two lovely people. Firstly from Healthy Frenchie and secondly from DaniellaJoe. A HUGE Thank you to you both. Despite the time-lapse I am greatly honoured.
The ‘rules’ for this award are simple:
1 Select the blog(s) you think deserve the ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award
2 Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there’s no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ them with their award.
3 Please include a link back to this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award – http://thethoughtpalette.co.uk/our-awards/blog-of-the-year-2012-award/ and include these ‘rules’ in your post (please don’t alter the rules or the badges!)
4 Let the blog(s) you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the ‘rules’ with them
5 You can now also join our Facebook group – click ‘like’ on this page ‘Blog of the Year 2012’ Award Facebook group and then you can share your blog with an even wider audience
6 As a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with the award – and then proudly display the award on your blog and sidebar … and start collecting stars…
So, now for the sharing of the love. I read many wonderful blogs who are all very deserving of this award but I have to choose some, so *deep breath* here goes:
Claireabellemakes Claire writes about her many and varied makes. She is a lovely person and has a lovely shop too.
Miss Bea – host to the weekly Creatives Unite, maker of amazing buttons and blogger of lovely small makes 🙂
Lacreature – a lovely blogger who blogs about her makes, even when they don’t quite work out as expected.
Lulu loves – A great blog with a lot of lovely, amazing free crochet patterns.
Span Studio – A really lovely positive blog. I love the way she makes the most out of every moment.
Lottie of London – Her blog posts always amaze me and teach me a lot! Her jewellery is amazing.
Bits and Bobs Crafts – Someone who writes very honestly and is an inspiration to me.
E1aine – An upbeat blog where she gives herself challenges!
Woolhogs – Hot to the monthly Made It challenge.
G-Ma Ellen’s Crochet Corner – This lady finds and shares some amazing things.
Oh dear – I could keep on going. There are truly so many wonderful blogs out there. I think that 10 is enough but if I haven’t included you it doesn’t mean I don’t love you – honest. If you don’t know any of the above then do go and have a look – you won’t be disappointed I promise 🙂
Hope you all have a happy, crafty weekend 🙂
