Transferring The Blogs You Follow From Hellocotton and Google Reader

I have just found out the sad news that Hellocotton will be closing down very soon. With the closure of Google Reader also fairly imminent I wanted to say a huge thank you for everyone who follows me at the moment. If you currently use one of the above platforms you can sign up to get e-mails every time I publish a post.

If you blog with WordPress I have just realised that you can use their reader to follow all blogs and not just WordPress hosted ones. Indeed I have just transferred all the blogs from Hellocotton straight into it – it was easy – I just got the OPML file from Hellocotton, went to edit – BLOGS I FOLLOW in my WordPress reader and put the file into the space. It really is as easy as that. (If you prefer you can just copy and paste the URL into the box of each blog you wish to follow.)

As always – if you have any questions then do ask. It appears to be a time of change 🙂 There are other reader platforms should you wish to use them instead but I have decided to keep everything in one place.

Thanks for everyone who follows so far – I do really appreciate it 🙂
