I think they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and are going away with new found skills. I love passing on skills to the next generation. What have you passed on?

Very impressive, I wouldn’t know where to start !!!
It is easy once you know how.
Looks like great fun.
Exhausting too!
Fantastic! They look gratifying 🙂
They are. 🙂
Looks like they had a great time. It look like a very relaxing craft. Might have to try it…. xx
I should. It is really great. xx
I’ve done this with my daughter. It’s deceptively simple for a complicated looking make itsn’t it?
it so is. Partly why I love it. xx
this looks such a great skill to pass on.. wish i knew how to do it.. 😀 the outcome looks fabulous. 😀
It isn’t hard at all.
How lovely where do you find those and how do the work?
Thanks for the roblog. I got the discs from Spoilt rotten beads but most bead shops will sell them. Hope that answers your question?
Yes thanks now all I have to do is find a bead shop in Saskatoon.
Reblogged this on Zankaj's Blog.
I’ve always called it french knitting – never knew it had a different name! Where did you get your big disks from, I only have tiny ones!
I think that french knitting is something a bit different? https://knitnrun4sanity.wordpress.com/2013/06/02/french-knitting/ I got the Kumihimo disks from a bead shop called Spoilt Rotten Beads but most bead shops will sell them.
Love this, it reminds me of the pin doll I had as a kid which made a round long string only I wouldn’t remember how to do it now
Thanks. I think you mean Nancy knitting or french knitting? I have done this with wire recently: https://knitnrun4sanity.wordpress.com/2013/06/02/french-knitting/
I’d love to do more crafty things with my children – looks fab!
It takes patience but it is really worth it…;)
What a great way to spend an afternoon, I bet they will love making these in the future to share with their friends!
Judging by their book bags it seems that they have really caught the blog already 🙂
They are lovely! Very intricate! 🙂
Thank you so much 🙂
Thank you very much. xx
That’s really great – and I love passing down knowledge.
It is such a lovely feeling – especially when they come up to you and show you all the lovely things they have then made on their own 🙂
